Nestled in the heart of the Great Southern region, historic Kojonup embodies the essence of rural charm and heritage. Established over 150 years ago, this vibrant town retains its traditional character with historic buildings and a welcoming, safe atmosphere. At its core lies the natural spring that drew European settlers in 1837, overlooked by the iconic old Military Barracks, a testament to Kojonup's rich history dating back to 1845.
Positioned along Highway 95, linking Perth to the historic port of Albany, Kojonup boasts convenience with just a two-hour drive from the state capital and a short hour and a half from Albany. Kojonup offers a variety of business and lifestyle opportunities, reflecting traditional Australian values cherished by its residents.
The Shire of Kojonup chose to modernise their outdated website during a 2024 website refresh. One of the main goals of this project was to ensure that content is easily accessible. The design of the website refresh was driven by a brand refresh that was undertaken by the Shire. The new design accentuated the brand by adhering to the updated style guide. The previous design featured too much text, so the Shire requested a more visual interface for a more enjoyable user experience.
This refresh was aimed at providing residents and visitors alike with easy access to essential information about the Shire, promoting its diverse business and lifestyle opportunities.
Market Creations Agency's development team crafted a modern and visually engaging website that focuses on delivering a user-friendly experience. The site's navigation is intuitive and efficient, ensuring easy access to key information for both residents and visitors to the Shire. A search bar was integrated into the first fold design to provide fast access to the desired content.
