Modules & Features

The corporate site introduces a plethora of exciting features through the Spark CMS’s available suite of modules. The home page features a mega menu and quick links display to streamline navigation. As users scroll down the page they are greeted with an intuitive latest news and events calendar feed, as well as a social media feed, hero image rotator and tools to quickly sign up to the shire’s newsletter and adjust the fonts and contrast of the site with WCAG compliant accessibility controls.

Near Me Geo-Mapping

The standout feature for the Shire of Murray corporate site is the Near Me geo-mapping module which takes a prominent fold of content on the site’s homepage and allows users to enter a street address and identify things to do around their area. The module opens up to a dynamic map featuring events, parks and reserves, and places of interest around the area making for a fantastic engagement piece to help users plan their day while in Murray.
