About the Client

Established in 1897, Moora Primary School is one of the oldest primary schools in Western Australia and is situated 172km north from Perth. Moora Primary School is a dynamic learning community where members work collaboratively to give every child the opportunity to realise their full potential and to become resilient, confident and respectful citizens.

The Brief

Market Creations Agency were delighted to be given the opportunity to create a fresh, modern website for Moora Primary School. The brief was to design a bright and bubbly website that would resonate with families of the area with young children (K-6).

Functionality

The new web design incorporated several strategic enhancements, such as the introduction of a dynamic latest news feed, a social media feed and an events calendar on the homepage. These inclusions offered parents a clear overview of all upcoming activities and a great way to interact with the happenings around the school. Quick links were also established to provide easy access to essential information such as enrolment forms, attendance forms and term planners.

Design

To appeal to a younger audience, Market Creations Agency’s designers prepared a series of 'furry friends', which feature throughout the website’s homepage design. A large emphasis was also placed on featuring high quality photos of students through an interactive image rotator, and image gallery module.
